We have tried to detect what you ask us the most. And based on that, we have compiled the following questions and answers. We hope you will find this page useful.

Controllers are not responding

The engine on which the game is built does not have auto-detection of controllers. This means that you have to use your keyboard to go to OPTIONS > CONTROLS > PLAYER ONE and set the individual buttons for your controller there. Then it should work normally. The gamepad must be connected to the PC before starting the game. (If this advice does not work either, the OpenBOR engine probably does not support your controller.)

How to play on Asus ROG Ally, Legion GO etc.

The same applies here as with the previous problem. The game does not have auto-detection of controllers and so the integrated controller will not load. You have to connect the keyboard and go to OPTIONS > CONTROLS > PLAYER ONE and set the controls there. Then your integrated controller should work.

How to display the game in full screen mode

Problem with downloading the game from the website

We have noticed that someone is having problems downloading the game / displaying our websites. Other users advise you to try turning off the VPN. (We haven’t tested it, we don’t see any problems with the website display anywhere.) Hopefully we’ll launch an alternative link soon from which the game can also be downloaded.

Releasing games on consoles and Steam/GOG

Releasing games on other platforms or sales sites such as Steam and GOG is unrealistic. Since the game is based on the original game published in 1993 by Capcom, we don’t have a license to legally sell or port it to platforms other than PC. That’s why we don’t make any money on the game and it’s completely free.

Can I play MFF4ever on Android?

Theoretically yes. There are versions of the OpenBOR engine designed for Android. If you upload a PAK with our game to them, it should work. However, we don’t have time to test it at the moment, so we can’t guarantee the quality.

Unlocking characters

1st completion of the game – unlocks Carlos and Maki
2nd completion of the game – unlocks Lucia and Dean
3rd completion of the game – unlocks Kyle

You can choose new characters in the “New Game +” modes, they are located on the question mark symbol.

Why did we choose the "Chibi version" of the characters

This is not a choice or modern stylization. The reason our characters look like this is that our game is not based on the original arcade game Final Fight, but on the 8-bit port of Mighty Final Fight, which was released for the NES home game console in 1993.

How can I support you if the game is not available for purchase?
